Jonathan Myerson leads the fixed interest team along with portfolio managers Bronwyn Blood and Vaneshen Naidoo. This dynamic collective previously managed R18bn of third-party investments at Cadiz Asset Management
Portfolio Manager: Multi Income Fund
Prior to joining Granate Asset Management in December 2015, she was the Portfolio Manager of the Flexible Fixed Interest Funds and the flagship Absolute Yield Fund at Cadiz Asset Management. When Cadiz bought African Harvest in 2006 Bronwyn took over the management of the Flexible Fixed Interest funds. Bronwyn holds a B.Comm (Honours) degree from the University of Natal.
Portfolio Manager: Money Market Fund
Vaneshen joined Granate Asset Management in December 2015 and currently manages the Money Market and Cash portfolios in the Fixed Interest Team. He joined Cadiz Asset Management in 2006 as a graduate and during this time analysed the credit and property sectors for the fixed interest and multi asset class teams. Vaneshen holds a BSc. Hons (Engineering) and M.Sc.(Engineering) from The University of Cape Town, and is also a CFA Charterholder.
Prior to joining Granate Asset Management in January 2016, Dalya served as a Credit Analyst at Cadiz Asset Management (2013-2015) where her role involved credit analysis in the Listed and Unlisted credit universe.
Dalya holds a B.BusSci (Finance and Accounting, First Class) from the University of Cape Town and she is a CFA Charterholder.
Ismail started his career at Maitland Fund Services as a Hedge Fund Accountant in 2008 before joining Cadiz Asset Management in 2010 as a Hedge Fund Operations Analyst. Following the launch of the Cadiz Africa Hedge Funds, he fulfilled various roles at Cadiz as a Client Relationship Manager, Business Analyst, and Project Manager. Ismail joined Granate Asset Management as the Operations Manager in June 2016. Ismail holds a B. Comm (Financial Accounting) and PDBA from the University of Cape Town.
